The 24th annual Día de los Muertos celebration and ritual

Join us for our 24th annual Día de los Muertos celebration and ritual. The free event will take place from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm at SPARC’s historic headquarters at 685 Venice Blvd., and will feature traditional altars, art, performances, and special Oaxacan treats!

The evening will begin with a traditional invocation ritual at sunset, conducted in Nahuatl, Spanish, and English, honoring the rich cultural heritage of this sacred day.

The public is invited to contribute to the building of a community altar by bringing photos of the people you wish to honor. Photos may be taken home at the end of the event.
