Día de los Muertos 2020

Join us for our 18th annual Día de los Muertos celebration and ritual on Monday, November 2nd at 6:00 PM PST. This year, SPARC is inviting the public to join us virtually to see a collection of altars from previous years as well as a community altar that honors the memories of your loved ones and ours. You can upload a photograph of your loved one to be placed on the virtual community altar by visiting www.SPARCinLA.org/altar2020. During the event, Martha Ramirez-Oropeza will lead a traditional invocation ritual in Nahuatl and Spanish that calls the spirits to join the celebration.
In a year where so many of us are surrounded by loss and transition, we are honored to create a virtual space where we can come together as a community and honor the memories of those who have passed on. We look forward to seeing you there.
