New Mural Unveiling in Lamont, California

SPARC is excited to announce that a new digital mural will be unveiled on April 27th, 2019 in Lamont, California. This is the first of eight ‘Healers of the Central Valley’ murals that SPARC will be installing in the Central Valley in the coming months. This mural was created in partnership with Dolores Huerta Foundation and tells the story of Lamont resident Manuela who overcame many barriers to fight for the health of her son Baltazar after he was diagnosed with leukemia.  Health for All is a SPARC public art initiative created with the support of The California Endowment and our many community partners in the Central Valley. We invite you to join us at our unveiling event this Saturday at 9 AM in Lamont, California.
