How Can You Help?

In its 40 years, SPARC has proudly produced educational programming for the arts across various communities.
As a non profit organization, SPARC’s achievements continously count upon the community and its support in the effort to
bring about inspiring forms of social justice.

In order to fulfill this mission, SPARC emphasizes meaningful relationships with its patrons so that it may maximize
opportunities for them to directly contribute to the organization’s creative endeavors. The involvement and support of
the individual community members echoes SPARC’s overall mission, which fosters art that rises out of the community as opposed to being
imposed upon it. Make your voice heard and share your commitment by getting involved NOW!

This summer, SPARC is focused on a city wide mural program in partnership with the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural
Affairs (DCA). Its efforts seek to restore 9 historically significant murals and project a standard for the respectful
maintenance of public art work recognized throughout the city and its streets.
